community life

Joining a group within Community Life will help you connect with others (gather), change to be more like Christ (grow), and cultivate a heart for others (go).

  • Life groups

Life Groups move people from the Sunday morning teaching and worship environment to meeting in a small group in a member's home for fellowship, prayer, and study. The essential task of a Life Group is to know one another by asking what God is doing in and through them each week.  We strive to apply Biblical truths to our daily lives, serve as a group, and support and encourage each other through prayer.

  • lead A Group

Do you enjoy fellowship and believe in the power of community? If you answered "YES!", then you may want to lead a life group. Passion for Christ and compassion for others are the primary qualifications needed.  Find out more about the vision of life groups on Sunday, June 25th, at the new life group leader interest meeting.  Click HERE to  register for the 9:30 or 11am new leader interest meeting or email for more information.

  • Community Groups

Community Groups gather based on a common interest or stage of life for the purpose of encouragement and support. Community groups vary in size (small to large), meet on-campus or in a member's home, and generally meet once a month or quarterly.

    Current Community Groups include:

    Families with Young Children

    NOVAS (Northern Virginia Seniors)

Email HERE for more information and to connect to a Community Group.

  • Quick connect

Quick Connect groups meet for 8 sessions (once a week) focusing on friendships and building connections.  These groups serve as an introduction to those who are new to small groups or who are uncertain about committing to a long-term group.  The group will be led through the Community study which focuses on intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders.

Quick Connect groups are held twice a year in February and September.  For more information, email
