The Women's Ministry at BCC strives to help women connect with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and with other women, in every season of life, in every level of faith, and above all else, in love. We encourage this connection through inter-generational Bible studies, discipleship, fellowship, and service opportunities.

Margin Madness

We will gather on August 28th in Room 201 from 7-9 pm for our second part of the series on the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5) - Goodness. Moms of Hope

Book Clubs

Non-Fiction -- Miracles by Eric Metaxas.  We will be meeting on Thursday, August 17 from 7-9 pm (Room M3B) to discuss the electrifying evidence that there is something to the science behind miracles.  Email nonfictionbookclub@burkecommunity.com.

Fiction Book Club --Need a couple good summer reads?  Purchase A Heart Most Certain for our gathering on Tuesday, September 5 from 7-9 pm (off-campus) and purchase some additional books that you may have missed throughout the year.  Books for $5. Heart2Heart is our mentoring ministry. If you want to become a woman of influence and be encouraging to other women, and sign up as a mentor.     • Body and Soul: 5:30-6:30 am, Mondays and Thursdays; 9:30-10:45 am, Mondays and Fridays, Main Street Square.
    • M.O.M.S. Playgroup: 9 am-11 am,Thursdays, various local Fairfax Parks.
    • Moms of Hope: 12:15-1:15 pm, Tuesdays during Breakaway season.
    • Heart-2-Heart: Ongoing. Mentoring ministry.
    • Counseling Program: Support groups led by lay leaders held on various topics throughout the year. 
    • Victorious Women's Support Group: A peer-led, Christian-based support group for women whose husbands have sexual strongholds. For more information, email HERE from a private account.

    • Summer Lunch Club (LCAC): Interested in volunteer opportunities over the summer? You can touch the lives of children in Lorton who go without meals during the summer and further your “GO” in the community!
