Speaker Allison Wilks will be discussing “Content to Thrive.” The Apostle Paul told Timothy that “godliness with contentment is great gain.” But if we are honest, when we think contentment, we are usually pondering the acceptance of lesser things. Biblical contentment is not life’s participation trophy. Biblical contentment is the not-so-secret superpower of every follower of Jesus. In Christ we have everything we need, not simply to survive but to thrive.
We will be having a free catered brunch (including a gluten-free option).
Please enter through the North Lobby doors, next to the back parking lot of the church. We will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and the doors will lock at 10:15 AM. If you arrive late, simply follow the instructions on the sign posted on the door to message us. All single women are welcomed to participate so invite friends, family, neighbors or co-workers (not required to be a member or regular attendee of BCC).
