Our special events team supports weddings, memorial services, congregational meetings, and some concerts and conferences – not with any regularity, and sometimes with very little notice! We just need smiling and caring people who are familiar with the building to hold doors open and hand out programs and help people find seats, usually. Sometimes we’re called on to do more – and we offer up our team for bigger events that individual ministries hold (like the women’s Christmas Tea, some student ministry events, and Fall Festival).
If you love people, are familiar with our building, don’t mind short notice every once in a while, and can’t obligate yourself for regular serving, this is the ministry for you! No training is required – each of our events tend to be slightly different, so we’ll fill you in on the details for the event when we send out our notification that we are having one!
